Game
This is a game created to explore confirmation bias. This is when a person tends to search for, interpret, focus on, or remember information in a way that confirms one's preconceptions. Dungeon Crawl with Strangers frames confirmation bias in a fantasy setting and plays with the concept in relation to fantasy classes, as seen in popular games such as Dungeons and Dragons.
Overall, our game was well received. While our game captures pitfalls of biased thinking and strategies to overcome them, there is room for improvement. In future iterations, more playtests would be done to clarify constraints and facilitate a more focused discussion phase.
